Construction of the Teepee Creek Ag Events Centre continues this winter, and to help, Redwood Inn & Suites has come on with a $100,000 sponsorship agreement.
They’ll also be the official host hotel, which is a natural fit as they have a long standing relationship with the Teepee Creek Stampede.
Association President Mack Erno says the funding will go towards construction, which began back in May.
“We expect to be done the actual shell of the building right around Christmas time, and then we’ll be working on getting our trades in and getting the electrical and lighting in place and the heating. Right now we’re targetting a February 1st date for opening.”
There were some delays with permitting, and structural steel is just now going up.
Erno says they already have bookings for the indoor riding arena well into the new year.
