Peace Wapiti Academy will host its first ever provincial tournament next fall.
The Alberta School’s Athletic Association has selected it for the 2015 Senior Boys 3A Volleyball Provincials in late November.
PWA Titans head coach Joel Thibault applied and got notice of the application in October, and says staff are excited to take part in coordination to make sure the event is a success.
Games will be played on the high school’s courts, as well as at Maude Clifford Public School.
The details have yet to be finalized, but Peace Wapiti students will also be invited to design a logo for the event.
