Town of Wembley names new CAO

Noreen Zhang has been named the new Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Wembley. Zhang says she’s excited to take on the challenge as well as get to know the people of Wembley.

“Local administration has always been my passion and I would like to build on the momentum that the town currently has. Building stronger relationships and strengthening the connection of the Town of Wembley to the surrounding municipalities is also high on my list of priorities.”

Zhang has previous experience working with the Subdivision Development Appeal Board and has a National Advanced Certificate in Local Authority Administration from the University of Alberta.

She will take over the role from longtime former CAO Lori Parker who left the role on March 15th to move closer to family in Edmonton. Parker held the position for 12 years. Zhang officially takes over on April 8th.
