Suspect sought in the armed robbery of a convenience store

RCMP are looking for a suspect involved in an armed robbery at the Mac’s convenience store on 100th Street and 105th Avenue Saturday evening.

Police say around 7:45 pm a man entered the store, and told the cashier that he was robbing her.

The suspect threatened to shoot the employee with what looked like a handgun.

Police say the male suspect was able to take a small amount of cash, and left the store on foot.

He is described as somewhere between 5’11” and 6′ tall, 40-50 years old, wearing a dark denim jacket, a dark hooded sweatshirt, glasses, and a ball cap.

Anyone with information on the suspect or the robbery is asked to get in touch with the local RCMP detachment (780-830-5701) or Crime Stoppers (1-800-222-8477).
