Over $50,000 in drugs, guns and cash have been seized from two homes in Grande Prairie after a short investigation by members of the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams.
Authorities say on March 15th they seized a stash of drugs from the two residences including 245 grams of cocaine, 235 grams of meth, 413 oxycodone pills and 1.3 litres of GHB. Nearly $30,000 in cash, as well as two weapons, were also picked up.
“Short-term, quick-hit investigations such as this speak to ALERT’s ability to translate criminal intelligence into viable enforcement action,” says ALERT Insp. Sean Boser.
23-year-old Taylor Leslie and 20-year-old Caiden MacKinnon are facing a combined 30 charges as a result of the investigation.
