Bernard Hancock named Freedom Conservative Party candidate

Bernard Hancock, better known to some as Bernard “The Roughneck”, has been named the Freedom Conservative Party candidate for the Grande Prairie riding in the upcoming 2019 provincial election.

Hancock gained notoriety for his appearances in Ottawa in 2016 as part of a larger scale protest for more pipelines.

He joins Alberta Party candidate Grant Berg, NDP candidate Todd Russell and the UCP nominee Tracy Allard in vying for the Grande Prairie riding.
