2019 St. Patrick’s Day unofficially the hottest in 43 years

St. Patrick’s Day 2019 was unofficially the warmest in Grande Prairie since 1976.

According to Environment Canada, the temperature got as high as 10.2 degrees. Compare that to 2017, when the max daytime high was nearly 25 degrees colder at -12.7 C.

And while Monday was also a nice smattering of sunshine and warm weather, it isn’t likely going to be back to back record breakers. As it got as high as 12.5 on March 18th back in 1990.
