Grande Prairie Rural RCMP says one person has died following an accident on a work site south of the city.
Authorities say they were called to the scene around 10:30 p.m. on March 10th, 60 km south of Grande Prairie near Wapiti Road after a man in his 30s was struck by a piece of heavy machinery. He died of his injuries.
Occupational Health and Safety has also been notified. The deceased man’s name will not be released.
