Remembrance Day ceremonies in Grande Prairie

Wherever you are in your day tomorrow, don’t forget to observe a moment of silence in remembrance of Canada’s fallen soldiers.

Wreaths will be laid at the cenotaph in Jubilee Park at 10:30 a.m. with a free lunch at the ANAVETS hall.

A ceremony will also be held at the Revolution Arena for anyone who would like to attend.

Doors will open at 10 a.m., followed by two minutes of silence at 11.

There will be a wreath laying and the royal anthem will be played.

The ceremony will wrap up shortly after noon, there will be a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion afterwards, with further afternoon events.
