Oil Barons sink Storm to tie series 1-1

The Grande Prairie Storm hope to bounce back after suffering a heartbreaking 2-1 overtime loss to Fort McMurray on Friday.

Xavier Pouliot got things started for Grande Prairie with his second goal of the series midway through the first period.

Jarred White tied things up for the Oil Barons with just under four minutes left in the third period. Brendan Stafford scored 35 seconds into overtime to win the game, and tie the series 1-1.

Things get back underway in Grande Prairie on Sunday. Puck drop for Game 3 is set for 7:30 at Revolution Arena.
