Unemployment up slightly for Grande Prairie – Athabasca region

Alberta’s unemployment numbers are holding steady from last year.

October 2014 measured up with a 4.5 per cent unemployment rate, the same as October 2013.

Here in the Athabasca-Grande Prairie region unemployment is up only slightly from 4.9 per cent in September to 5 per cent in October.

Year over year, however, that number is up almost a full percentage.
