One more day to share thoughts on affordable housing

Friday is the last day for people to give their opinions on affordable housing in Grande Prairie. On February 19th, a survey opened online with questions aimed at finding out what types of housing could be added in the city.

The 23 question survey is part of the first phase of the city’s new affordable housing strategy. The new strategy will update the one created in 2011 and will outline what role the City will play in providing housing supports.

People who take the survey will be asked about their current housing, preferences, how housing costs affect them, as well as some demographic information. That information will then be used to find out which part of the population is most in need of housing.

The survey can be found on the city’s website until March 8th.
