Three charged after drugs, gun found during traffic stop

Three people from Dawson Creek are facing charges following a traffic stop in Grande Prairie. On March 3rd, Grande Prairie RCMP pulled over a vehicle in the area of 100 Street and 94 Avenue. During the stop, officers say they found around 33 grams of cocaine, around 43.2 grams of meth and a loaded sawed-off shotgun.

25-year-old Tyler Kisch and 25-year-old Darcy Belcourt and 27-year-old Kaylie Tomkins have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and meth and firearms offences.

No other information is expected to be released as the matter is now before the courts.
