Citizen budget tool lets Grande Prairie residents have crack at the city's budget

Grande Prairie residents can get a taste of what it takes to budget for a city of over 55,000 people through a new online tool on the city’s website.

The Citizen Budget Tool is available leading up to the city’s capital and operating budget talks, which are November 13 and 14, and then from the 19 to the 21.

Through the tool, you have an opportunity to see how the budget and it’s funding sources affect tax increases or decreases.

Residents can also weigh in on proposed projects that will be up for debate during budget deliberations.
