Parking bans lifted

The parking ban on all permanent snow routes in the City of Grande Prairie has been lifted. As of 9 p.m. on February 27th, people were again allowed to park on priority 1 and 2 routes.

The ban was put into place on January 2nd after the airport recorded 18.3 centimetres of snowfall on December 29th. That broke the previous record of 10.2 centimetres that fell on the same day in 1949.
