UPDATE: Two people have been taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries after an SUV travelling south collided with a pickup truck heading north. The driver of the pickup was not injured.
The highway is now clear and traffic is moving again. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Drivers are being asked to avoid a portion of Highway 40 near Norbord. Grande Prairie RCMP rural members are currently on scene of a two vehicle crash between a pickup truck and an SUV.
Traffic is being diverted from the area. RCMP says drivers should expect delays and is asking them to choose another route if possible.
