Largest fentanyl seizure ever by ALERT in Grande Prairie

ALERT has made another major drug seizure in Grande Prairie.

Almost two kilograms of cocaine and more than 1,800 fentanyl tablets were found at a home on October 23rd, the most fentanyl ever seized by ALERT.

Nearly a quarter million dollars worth of drugs were taken, making it one of the largest seizures in the city’s history.

Oxycodone, two long guns, and $1,800 in cash were also found, along with a cocaine press, chemical additives and a money counter.

26 year old Mark Richard Phillips is now facing four drug-related charges, stemming from the investigation that began back in May 2014.
