Drug and weapon charges laid following traffic stop in Peace River

Two Peace River men have been arrested and charged with a number of drug and weapons offences.

31 year old Rocky Garnett and 36 year old Daniel Guerin were arrested around lunch time yesterday during a traffic stop, where RCMP discovered two fully loaded shotguns and an undisclosed amount of cocaine.

Both men have been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, a breach firearms prohibition, and other firearms related charges.

They will both make their first court appearance on Monday.
