Premier Jim Prentice will be in Manning this evening for the PC Party’s 2014 leaders dinner.
The dinner was meant to be held earlier this month, but was postponed until after by-elections.
The community has spent years lobbying to have a leader’s dinner held in Manning, and tickets sold out in days.
People are reportedly coming from as far away as High Level, Peace River, Fahler, Fort Vermillion and La Crete to hear Prentice speak.

The Leadership dinner will be at the Battle River Agricultural Hall, starting this evening at 6:30.
