Kidnapper given two year jail sentence

A two year sentence has been handed down to one of the people involved in the kidnapping of a seven month old girl.

27 year old Keisha Horseman was arrested in February, following the theft of an idling truck that contained the infant.

In September she was convicted with charges of unlawful confinement, abandoning a child, and possession of property obtained by crime and a weapon, while her theft of a motor vehicle charge was dismissed.

Horseman will serve the two year sentence in addition to the time she has already served in custody since being arrested.
