Volunteer Services Bureau looking for Leaders of Tomorrow

Nominations are now being accepted for the Leaders of Tomorrow Awards. It is given out by the Grande Prairie Volunteer Services Bureau and recognizes students who have made outstanding contributions to their community through volunteering.

In order to be considered, the student must be between the ages of 13 and 18. They must also live within the service area which is City and County of Grande Prairie, extending North to Grimshaw, East to Valleyview, South to Grande Cache and West to the Alberta-BC Border.

This year, nomination packages must be submitted with a video featuring both the nominator and nominee explaining why the student deserves to be recognized. Each award recipient will receive a trophy, a certificate, $100 for them and $100 to the charity of their choice.

Nomination packages can be found on the Volunteer Services Bureau website. Packages are due by March 8th.
