County snow removal crews to start residential snow clearing

Snow removal crews are on their way to a number of neighbourhoods in the County of Grande Prairie. On Monday, they will clear the areas north and south of 108 Avenue in Clairmont. After that, they will head to Whispering Ridge and Westlake Village. When those are complete, they will move on to the subdivision of Wedgewood.

People are reminded to watch for snow removal crews in their neighbourhood and to make sure their vehicles are not parked on the road while crews are clearing the streets.

Residents are also being told not to pile or push snow from their driveways or property onto the roads as it slows the snow clearing process and can create a safety hazard.
