Jason Kenney on his way back to Grande Prairie

People will soon be able to see Jason Kenney in Peace country again. The UCP leader will be in the area next week along with a local MLA and Grande Prairie-area UCP candidates.

His tour starts with an open house and breakfast with Grande Prairie-Smoky MLA Todd Loewen at St. Rita’s Community Hall in Valleyview on January 24th from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Then it’s on to lunch at the Beaverlodge Community Centre on January 24th from 12 to 1:30. Tracy Alland and Travis Toews will be there as well, and tickets are $20.

Kenney will head into Grande Prairie to speak at a dinner at Revolution Place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $100 a person.

The next day, the Conservative leader will start the day in Sexsmith with a breakfast event. It will take place at the Sexsmith Civic Centre from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. with $20 tickets. He’s then slated to take part in a “Rally for the Peace” at Greggs Distributors in Spirit River from 10 to 10:45 a.m.

Lunch on the 25th will be at the Dunvegan Inn & Suites in Fairview from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for $10. He will wrap things up in Peace River with a town hall with candidate Dan Williams at Channico Machine and Millwright Shop from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and a dinner fundraiser at the Belle Petroleum Centre for $100 a ticket.

Kenney was last in the city on December 16th to speak at the city’s oil and gas rally. He also has stops in Slave Lake and High Level on this tour.
