Three arrested after stolen property investigation near Demmitt

Three people are facing numerous charges after a stolen property investigation. On January 8th, Beaverlodge RCMP responded to a call about three people in a stolen vehicle near Demmitt. Officers eventually found the group on a lease site along with two trucks, a camper, a cargo trailer and an ATV that were also stolen.

21-year-old Tyler Calliou from Dawson Creek has been charged with six counts of possession of stolen property over $5000 and one count under $5000. He has also been charged with three counts of breach of recognizance, two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, two counts of mischief under $5000 and leaving the scene of an accident.

23-year-old Devon Calliou also from Dawson Creek has been charged with two counts of possession of stolen property over $5000 and one count under $5000, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from police.

52-year-old Randy Larson of Valhalla Centre has been charged with three counts of possession of stolen property over $5000 and possession of stolen property under $5000.

Larson was released with a court date scheduled for a later date. Devin and Tyler Calliou were held for a Judicial Interim Release hearing and later released on bail.
