Two former members of the Town of Grande Cache’s council are now Municipal District of Greenview councillors. Duane Didow and Tyler Olsen were sworn in Friday morning.
Didow and Olsen were chosen by their colleagues through a secret ballot in September. They will serve on the interim council until the next municipal election in 2021.
Grande Cache officially dissolved on January 1st, becoming a hamlet of the MD of Greenview. It is now its ninth ward. All former town employees are also now considered municipal district employees.
