Workshop to show people how to support LGBTQIA+ youth

Alberta Health Services wants to teach people how to support LGBTQIA+ youth in Grande Prairie. It will be hosting a workshop on January 14th to answer any questions people might have about gender and sexual minority young people.

The presentation, led by Mental Health Therapist Nicole Marshall, will provide a safe space for people to learn more about lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, queer/questioning, intersex, or asexual children and teens. It will also help people differentiate between sexual orientation and gender identity, and provide current information on supporting and working with youth.

Registration is not required. The workshop will be held at the Grande Prairie Public School District from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
