Over the next couple of months, students at Grande Prairie Regional College will have increased help with handling stress, relationships, and depression.
College groups hosted the first weekly Mental Health Awareness workshop yesterday, along with Community Helpers, which trains young people how to counsel their peers.
There are four different workshops aimed at issues post-secondary students commonly face.
Each session is 90 minutes and students are encouraged to bring a lunch, every second Wednesday.
