Traffic light install in Clairmont delayed

It’ll likely be another week and a half before lighting upgrades the junction of Highway 2 and 100th Avenue in Clairmont are completed.

Jamie Friesen with Alberta Transportation says the street lights are up and running, but there have been delays with scheduling and materials so the traffic lights are not up yet.

The $460,000 project was expected to be done around the middle of the month, but is now projected to be complete by the end of next week.

Speed limits are reduced when workers are on site.
