“While we do not believe it was workplace related, we are undertaking a full investigation and working with Occupational Health and Safety.”
The death of a man at a wellsite south of Grande Prairie is being investigated by Alberta Occupational Health and Safety. Alberta Labour spokesperson Trent Bancarz says emergency services were called to the Husky Energy site around 11 a.m. Monday.
“A 32-year-old male was found unconscious and unresponsive in his vehicle,” he explains. “The worker was taken to hospital and pronounced dead and OHS is investigating.”
