Police are now looking for a dark coloured pick up truck possibly with an extended cab in connection with a fatal hit and run last night.
Valleyview RCMP was called to the 69 Road south of the Calais store and Highway 43 around 11:55 pm.
A 22 year old woman from the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation was found lying in the north bound lane of the road.
Police are now asking the public for help locating the vehicle and driver responsible.
