Tip leads to suspected drug house

UPDATE: As of February 25, 2019, the charges against Holtz and Bundy have been withdrawn.

A tip to the Report A Drug House line in Grande Prairie has led to a major bust. RCMP says it seized a “significant quantity” of meth and heroin from a home near 101 Avenue on November 23rd.

The exact amount and location have not been released. Six people were arrested as part of the investigation and all are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

39-year-old Jason Scott Holtz of Grande Prairie is facing two counts, along with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of property obtained by crime. 49-year-old Clint Wally Bundy of GP and 24-year-old Chase Courtoreille of Hythe are also each facing two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, while Bundy is also charged with failing to comply with release conditions.

Anyone who suspects drug trafficking activity in their neighbourhood is urged to call the confidential tip line at 780-830-7444. Callers should leave a message with as much detail as possible, including the address of the home and what they see happening and their call should be returned within two days.
