Grande Prairie and Beaverlodge welcome high school volleyball players

High School volleyball players have descended on the area. From November 22nd to the 24th, players will be in Grande Prairie and Beaverlodge to participate in two tournaments.

First, the Beaverlodge Regional Royals will welcome 11 other teams from across the province for the Senior Girls 3A Volleyball Provincials. Coach and Tournament Chair Erin Martin says this is a great opportunity to show Beaverlodge off to the rest of the province.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the province’s best 3A-level female volleyball players to Beaverlodge. Many of our students are involved in this event so it’s an incredible opportunity to showcase the talent and citizenship that make BRHS special.”

All games in that tournament will be played in Beaverlodge at BRHS and St. Mary Catholic School.

Tickets for both events will cost $10 for a day pass or $20 for a tournament pass. Children 10 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

A schedule of events can be found on Alberta Schools’ Athletic Association website for both Beaverlodge and Grande Prairie.
