Shoot for the Cure returns to Revolution Place tomorrow

The 8th Annual Secure Energy Shoot for the Cure is coming up this weekend during the Grande Prairie Storm’s home game against the Olds Grizzlies.

Storm Business Manager Ward Livingston says the team will be sporting pink jersey during the game.

“Even the team is very excited about the look of the jerseys and we’ll unveil them at the game that night. It’s the only night of the year that we’ll wear them, and then they’ll be auctioned off through out the course of the evening too, and then those proceeds go towards the Canadian Cancer Society.”

Those in attendance will also have an opportunity to purchase a pink Frisbee for $5, which will be thrown towards a target on the ice during the second intermission.

Whoever is closest will win a trip for two from Westjet.
