The Grande Prairie – Beaverlodge – Valleyview and Peace River – Fairview – High Prairie – Manning regions are under a freezing rain warning. Environment Canada says an area of freezing rain will develop over the British Columbia Peace River district Saturday afternoon before moving into Alberta early this evening.
The freezing rain is expected to impact communities between Rainbow Lake and Hinton before moving to the southeast Saturday night. Highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery and drivers are urged to adjust to the conditions.
