Parking ban lifted

A parking ban on all permanent snow routes in the City of Grande Prairie has been lifted. One was put in place on November 6th to allow for snow plows to clean up after 11 centimetres fell the weekend before.

Crews are still clearing priority 3 routes and picking up windrows on priority two routes. The City says sanding crews are also monitoring priority 1 and 2 routes, and tackling “particularly icy patches” on priority 3 routes and in residential areas.

A residential snow removal circuit was not started after the recent snowfall.
