Drugs, guns again found at Southwynd Estates home: RCMP

Drugs, guns, and cash have reportedly been found at a home in Grande Prairie for the second time this year. The Western Alberta District Rural Crime Reduction Unit executed a search warrant at the home in Southwynd Estates on November 3rd, following an investigation that lasted several months.

Inside, police say they found four guns and ammunition, along with an undisclosed amount of Canadian cash and drugs like meth, cocaine, heroin, and Magic Mushrooms. The previous bust was in May 2018.

Three men from Grande Prairie aged 30, 36, and 42 are facing several drug possession and firearms charges. The eldest is also charged with 14 counts of failing to comply with a recognizance. The youngest has been released while the other two remain in custody. All three are slated to be back in court on November 21st.
