Reports of a possible gas leak at the Crosslink County Sportsplex Friday afternoon turned out to be false. The building was evacuated out of concern about a strong odour in the area.
“Upon investigation, it was determined to be an odour coming from the surrounding area and it was confirmed that there is no danger to the public,” the County says.
The doors of the sportsplex have reopened and operations are back to normal.
