The Crosslink County Sportsplex in Clairmont will be a hub of activity on Saturday. The Grande Peace Athletic Club has a full day of free hockey games and activities planned to celebrate the second annual GPAC Day.

There are five hockey games scheduled that day. Starting at 11:30 am, the Dreger Racing Team Storm take on the Hitch’Em Oilfield Hauling Storm. Both teams will be competing for bragging rights and a belt buckle.

Then at 2 pm, Ernie’s Sports Experts Midge AAA Storm, who have won five of their last six games, will host the Airdrie Xtreme.

At 4:30, the GPAC Bantam AAA will host Sherwood Park. Then on the twin rink at 5 pm, the Boston Pizza U16 Storm will face off against the Edmonton South Side Athletic Club.

The games wrap up at 7 pm when the Peaceland Directional Drilling Storm take on St. Albert.

There will also be bouncy castles set up in the field house, silent auction tables with tickets and signed jerseys and a 50/50 draw. All minor hockey players who come with their team will also get a free ticket to a Grande Prairie Storm game and one team will win a pizza party and practice with the Storm.
