Two people from Beaverlodge facing numerous charges

A man and woman from Beaverlodge are facing multiple charges after a hit and run and break and enter in Airdrie.

On October 22nd, an Airdrie man saw a vehicle which he says stole gas from his property the day before. He began following the vehicle which then turned around and hit his truck. The man and woman in the suspect vehicle ran from the scene on foot and were then seen breaking into a home.

Airdrie Rural RCMP arrived on scene and surrounded the house. The Emergency Response Team entered the home and found the suspects hiding in the attic. Both were arrested with the help of Police Dog Service and the Calgary Hawks.

A 31-year-old man has been charged with 15 offences including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, assault with a weapon and break and enter. A 34-year-old woman is facing seven charges including break and enter and mischief under $5000.
