A trial is being held today for a man accused of neglecting an animal.
Byron Tel Sutherland of Grande Prairie was charged in April 2013 under the Animal Protection Act.
The 43 year old is accused of causing a horse distress and withholding food and water.
He plead not guilty to both charges laid by the Alberta SPCA.
