“Being supported by my fellow councillors to serve another term as the reeve for the County of Grande Prairie is an honour,” Beaupre says. “As a council, we will continue to put the needs of our residents first by investing in the programs, services and facilities that improve quality of life throughout our community.”

In the County, councillors for each division are elected every four years, and each year the councillors choose the reeve and deputy reeve between themselves. Division 4 councillor Ross Sutherland was also acclaimed as deputy reeve for the seventh year in a row.

“I look forward to working with my fellow councillors and administration to ensure that the County remains a great place for residents to live, raise a family while maintaining an excellent climate for economic development,” says Sutherland. “Thank you to council for your vote of confidence for another year.”
