One dead in early morning shooting in the Gateway Power Centre

One man is dead after a shooting outside the Canadian Brewhouse early this morning.

RCMP say they were called around 1 am after hearing complaints of shots being fired.

A young man was found seriously injured lying on the ground in the parking lot.

He was taken to hospital, but passed away shortly after.

Grande Prairie RCMP, along with the Edmonton Major Crimes Unit are investigating, and are still on scene this morning.

An autopsy has yet to be scheduled, and Police have not released a name.
