A Grande Prairie woman is $1.3 million richer. Tanya S., whose last name is being kept private, won the $1 millon USD cash prize and a cruise in a Las Vegas slot tournament on October 10th.
She earned her spot at the TournEvent at the Wynn/Encore resort through a local competition at Evergreen Park’s Pines Casino.
“We are absolutely thrilled that one of our customers won last night,” says Evergreen Park General Manager Dan Gorman.
“I would to congratulate Tanya S. and thank her for promoting Evergreen Park in Las Vegas in the TournEvent of Champions,” adds Evergreen Park Racing & Gaming Manager Pat Hill.
Tanya beat out 165 other top competitors from across North America. She can choose to either get her winnings in payments over 20 years or in a lump sum.
