XS Cargo going out of business, Grande Prairie location closing

XS Cargo is closing its doors in Grande Prairie.

The discount retailer is liquidating its stock at all its 50 stores in Canada for up to 40 per cent off.

The company went for bankruptcy protection in July, but has not been able to restructure successfully.

It’s blaming big box stores like Target and Walmart for its downfall.

More than 600 people will lose their jobs.
