Mobile mammogram service heading to Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation

Women living on the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation will soon have access to mammogram services. Alberta Health Services will be setting up their mobile screening trailer at the Sturgeon Lake Health Centre on October 12th.

AHS has taken the Screen Test program all across the province and aims to bring mammogram screening to women who may not have access to those kinds of services in their area.

Women ages 50 to 74 can call 1-800-667-0604 to learn more about the program or to book an appointment.
