New doctor now working in High Prairie

People living in High Prairie now have more options for their health care. Dr. Gleam Singh Gill has moved to the area and is now practising. Associate Zone Medical Director for Alberta Health Services Dr. John Loge says he’s glad to have another doctor in the area.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome Dr. Gill to the community. He’s a great addition to our local care team and his skills are a valuable asset to local residents.”

Gill becomes the sixth family doctor in town. He came to the area from India as part of AHS’ effort to recruit new doctors to northern communities.

He will be working out of the High Prairie Community Health and Wellness Clinic.
