No charges laid in Mission Heights gun scare

Police have dealt with an incident in Mission Heights yesterday.

Police were called shortly before 8 pm after receiving reports about some with a firearm in the area of 105 Street and 72 Ave.

RCMP set up a containment area as they were concerned the suspect may have a long barrel firearm.

However the person was arrested with out incident, and police say they were carrying a camouflaged pellet gun that looked like a pump action shot gun.

The suspect has since been released without charges
