Part of Woody Channel trail closed for repairs

Trail users in Signature Falls will have to temporarily find a new place to hike. A portion of the Woody Channel Trail in Grande Prairie will be closed to the public starting October 1.

Workers will be performing repairs on the west bank of the channel near 70 Avenue and 85 Street. The closure will allow workers to store materials and equipment on the trail.

People are reminded to obey all signs and use caution while in the construction area.

Work on the channel is expected to last two weeks.
