UPDATE: Frost advisory has ended

UPDATE: The frost advisory was cancelled around 4:30 Monday morning.

A frost advisory has been issued for the Grande Prairie-Beaverlodge-Valleyview areas for the second day in a row.

Environment Canada says partly clear skies combined with a cold airmass will cause temperatures to drop below zero tonight. Grande Prairie is expected to see a low of minus 6 overnight with wind chills near minus 8.

People are reminded to cover plants, especially in frost prone areas.
