Crash closes Alaska Highway north of Dawson Creek

Highway 97 is closed in both directions due to a crash between Dawson Creek and Taylor, B.C. DriveBC shows the crash site is at the Kiskatinaw River Bridge, 35 kilometres north of the junction with Highway 2.

Truck traffic can detour using the Braden Road 22 or Highway 29 towards Hudson Hope and Chetwynd as a detour. STARS Air Ambulance has been called to the scene, along with local RCMP and fire departments.
